let us never forget

We are the church of light.

We are the church of the firstborn from the dead.

We are the church of the resurrection unto eternal life.

We are the church of Jesus Christ.

We are the nation born from above.

We are the nation of priests who minister life.

We are the nation that will transcend to another age.

We are the nation of Jesus Christ.

We are the people born of undying love.

We are the people deeply connected to love Incarnate.

We are the people connected by communion.

We are the people of Jesus Christ.

We are the body that is whole yet broken for love.

We are the body who walks not by the Spirit of this age.

We are the body that stands firm amidst the onslaught.

We are the body of Jesus Christ.

right now is the right time

Right now is the right time. Do you want to see?

Right now is the right time. Do you want to hear?

It’s for you. It’s for me. The door is opening, and the light is shining through.

It’s the entrance of light. It’s the entrance of His Word.

It’s the entrance of His Word that brings light.

The light that brings understanding. The light that brings insight. It’s for you. It’s for me.

Right now is the right time. Woe - for many are turned aside.

Right now is the right time. Whoa - turn aside! Behold a bush, aflame of fire but not consumed.

I want to get down low, crawl close to the cracked door that is opening.

I want to get down low, cover my ears to what others are turned aside to and listen to the Word.

Tenderly calling. A voice - I can hear through the opening door. Who will come? Who will listen?

Gently whispering. A voice - I can hear through the light and flame. Who will understand the strategy?

Come up here, come up now, my beloved, and I will show you what must take place after this.

For now is the right time. Am I listening?

For now is the right time. To whom or what am I turned aside?

Blessed is the man who meditates on this Word, this light, in the day, and in the night.

(Psalm 119:130; Revelation 4:1; Psalm 1:1; Daniel 2:21)

Thoughts on Worship: Genesis John Revelation:1

Unto us a child is born…unto us a son is given…and His name shall be called…

In the beginning, there was God. God, and only God. Inhabiting Eternity.

And the light dwelt with Him.

God wanted to express Himself. Expressing Himself, He spoke the word - and light shone.

Light shone in the darkness. God expressed Himself into the darkness, and we saw light.

Light dwelt with Him, and now we dwelt in light. Because God expressed Himself, we saw light.

We hated the light. We rejected the light. We rejected God’s expression.

How can you know a man, except for what He says? How can you know a man, but by His expression?

Transcendent God. Eternal God. Full of love. Full of mercy. Overflowing. Spilling out.

Can’t contain it anymore. Can’t hold in this abundance. Can’t hold it anymore -

The Heart is breaking open, cracking into Pieces.

Radiance, Life, Love - pouring out of this perfect heart…

Into Expression. Out of the bosom of the Father, God expresses Himself.

How can you know a man, except for what He says? God spoke the Word.

In the beginning, was the Word. And the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

God expressed Himself. And the Word became form. Word became flesh.

Unknowable face, unseen person - now expressed in the face of Jesus.

Forever God that inhabits eternity. Light dwelt with Him.

The expressed image of His person. The exact representation of the unseen God.

Light dwelt with Him. And His light was the light of men. Made manifest.

To see the faithful witness is to see the Father. He is One with His expression.

The fulness of the Godhead is in the expression. Bodily. The Word dwells bodily.

God expresses Himself into the Word into the Body.

God speaks Life into the Word into the Body.

How can you know a man except that which is in His heart?

God shares His Word with the darkness, though He lives in light.

And in His light, we see light. In the face of Jesus.

And in His light, we see light. In the face of Jesus.

And Silent like a lamb to the slaughter, the Father’s expression was enough for Jesus.

The Very Word of God was silent.

And that Word was extinguished, that expression was rejected, again.

It was rejected so that out of that abundant heart can flow more expression. Blood. Salvation. An eternal life expressed in expression. Light expressing light. Light born out of a grateful heart.

Darkness penetrated by expression. Expression bearing light. Light being the companion of God.

Worship birthed by light expressed. Light expressed in worship birthed.

Radiant loving heart of the Father, broken open to birth an expression, a Word of love.

Radiant loving heart of the Word, broken open to birth an expression, a Bride of love.

Radiant loving heart of the Bride, broken open to birth an expression, a Cry of Worship.

And in that cry, out of that heart, and in that expression - we are One.

God in us. Us in God. The fulness of the Love of the Father flowing through all and from all.

God loves to express Himself.

My Heart is Heavy Today

My heart is heavy today, because in New York Psalm 2 is being fulfilled. Not only are the nations raging against America, with the Venezuelan president calling Bush “the devil” and the U.S. “the evil empire”, but with God’s anointed leader of the earth, Jesus the Christ, as all of the world leaders try to lead the world themselves. They talk about “justice and peace”, when all they really want is man’s way without God.  This futile exercise will ultimately end in much strife, because they refuse to submit to and kiss the Son who is only wise enough, pure enough, and loving enough to lead humanity.

My heart is heavy today, because man is trying and will try to rebuild the tower of Babel - so that “nothing will be impossible for us” (Gen. 11:6) with one common tongue, one common economy, political system, ruled and governed by unperfect man. We are at enmity with God, and my heart is heavy because the world will have to go through “times as never before seen on the earth, that must be shortened or no flesh would survive” (Matt. 24) in order for the earth and the church to be prepared to receive Jesus as the only true and worthy King of the Earth.

My heart is heavy today, because after leaving the U.N., the Venezuelan president is invited to speak at a Baptist church about his policies and oil. He appeals to the “christian” and “jewish” nation we live in by referring to himself as “david” against the US empire “goliath”, when hours earlier he was using terms like “insha-allah” to point his muslim “brothers” to his agenda. The “church” hypnotically goes along, all the while, why Fox News cameras fixate on the cross in the background of the church, and the world scoffs at the blindness of “church” to receive such deceitful men with open arms.

My heart is heavy today, because like Jonah in the stormy boat, the world often has more discernment about what is really going on in the world than the church. My heart is heavy, for we are sleeping in unreality.

My heart is heavy today, because we are often more concerned with box office trends and celebrity marriages than the times and the seasons of the earth. We spend millions on tracking devices to avoid bad weather like hurricanes, but we wont spend a minute asking God for understanding for the hour in which we live on the earth.

My heart is heavy today, because when Jesus says “Watch therefore! For you do not know the hour the Son of Man is coming” we brush it under the rug by inventing theologies that justify our lack of readiness for what is coming through escape, rather than heeding our masters words and being ready with our waists girded and lampstands full.

My heart is heavy today, because although we are quick to quote Jesus’ words “I have called you friends” - we care not about His heart for days ahead, but turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to what is coming on the earth, though 1/3 of the entire scriptures point to it.

My heart is heavy today, because many believe that all of the sudden they will get ready for the end and cry out to God when the trouble hits, and they will be swept away by delusion, not having prepared their heart by seeking God when there was still time.

My heart is heavy today, because we avoid discussing the nations and the future and the coming of Christ because we’re concerned about being seen as “controversial” or “super-spiritual”. Our fear of man proves a snare and we lose the very reality that propelled the early church into exponential kingdom growth inside and out.

My heart is heavy today, because although we are quick to quote Jesus’ words “I have called you friends” - we avoid Him like an angry father or an abusive husband, instead of coming to Him like we would the greatest and most trustworthy friend, casting our every weakness on Him, because He cares for us and delights in giving us mercy.

My heart is heavy today because Peter said “The end of all things is near, therefore be watchful and sober-minded in your prayers!” (1 Pet. 4:7), but we throw that in our “unclear” box and continue to go on “with business as usual”, and thrust ourselves in the category of the delusional in the Days of Noah. We may not be given over to “drunkenness, partying, marrying and giving in marriage” in the natural, but how about in the Spirit?

My heart is heavy today, because if we don’t understand something, we explain it away with human logic to justify our boxes, instead of calling on the beautiful God-man who beckons our most honest questions, that he may illuminate, exhilarate, and fascinate us with His Word.

My heart is heavy, because although we long for deep, meaningful experience in our human relationships, we avoid it altogether when it comes to the Lord because of some people on TV who have “gone overboard”. Then we dismiss the Lord’s command to wait and seek Him to be “clothed with power from on high” (Acts 1:4-5) by telling ourselves we already are.

My heart is heavy, because just like he did before Moses’ day and Jesus’ day, Satan is destroying babies (this time through abortion) because he knows we are entering a transitional season in history just as Moses and Jesus were. Instead of understanding the times and seasons, we hide under an escape clause doctrine that has only existed for the last 200 years.

My heart is heavy, because Muslim’s also look forward to a real Jesus coming and a false Jesus coming. Except their false Jesus is our real Jesus and our false Jesus is their real Jesus. And Jesus told us this would happen, and yet the Bible still says “many will fall away.” (Matt. 24:10) My heart is heavy, because my own heart has misperceptions of Jesus that must and can be corrected as I pursue the knowledge of Him by His careful, gracious leadership, but I shy away.

My heart is heavy, because the nations are raging against God’s chosen King, His chosen people, and His chosen land. My heart is heavy, because the American church is so given to deception, for lack of the true knowledge of God that He is so desperately willing to give to the hungry. If we aren’t too busy…

My heart is heavy, because His heart is heavy.

6.5 billion times more than mine.

A Poem for the Late Hour

Darkness increases, rebellion covers the earth.

The nations rage, the peoples plot in vain against the Anointed, Chosen One. The leaders of the earth rise together against the One God has chosen to rule the earth.

Darkness increases, rebellion covers the earth.

Demonic forces pervade the earth, the cinemas, the television, the shopping malls, even the religious meeting places.

Darkness increases, rebellion covers the earth.

They know their time is short. They want many to go with them to their fate.

Darkness increases, rebellion covers the earth.

Let all the peoples tremble, before the great and terrible day of the Lord.

It is a day of darkness and gloom, a day of thick clouds and deep blackness.

We will tremble in the day of His power. We will tremble in the day of His beautiful justice, for it is the foundation of His throne.

Though they say, “Where is your God?” We will not be moved. Though the mountains fall into the sea, His word is our eternal reality. His truth is the ever-present daybreak of our night.

I will not fear, for you have overcome the world.

I am hidden in Christ. He is hidden in me.

I am alive on the inside.

Models don’t matter, neither do methods.

I am alive on the inside.

One Man is all that matters. One Man.

Models don’t matter, neither do methods, only being alive on the inside from encountering One Man.

Eternity is real. Temporary is a vapor.

Eternity is really real, the temporary is but a passing shadow.

I choose not to go with the shadow, I choose to go with the Light.

I choose not to be swept up with the wicked, or the wave of delusion. I choose to be with Jesus where He is.

I choose to be alive on the inside.

I choose One Man.

I choose Jesus.
